Mimeo is built to be operated without reaching for the mouse.

The command palette

/ does nothing while you're typing. It's ignored inside any text field, select, or rich-text editor — so writing an email with a slash in it works exactly as you'd expect.

What it searches

People (by name or email address), emails, segments, flows, sequences and broadcasts, all in one list. Below the results are every section of the app and the things you can create.

Actions from the page you're on

Pages add their own entries while you're on them, so the palette offers what the current screen can actually do: pause this flow, send yourself a test of this broadcast, export this segment, open its report. Kill switches are reachable that way without hunting for the toggle first.

The palette is a shortcut over the UI, never a replacement for it. Everything in it exists somewhere you can click, and there's a search button in the nav for the days you don't remember the keystroke.

Renaming anything

Wherever a page is headed by a record's name — a flow, a sequence, a broadcast, a segment, a template, an email's subject — that name is the field you rename it in. Click it and type. Enter or clicking away saves; Escape puts the old name back; an empty name is refused. There is no separate rename form to find, and no page where renaming works differently.

A record its own state has frozen — a broadcast that has already gone out — shows its name as plain text instead.

Everything else

Tab order follows the page, every control shows a focus ring, and a skip link jumps straight to the content. Tables, tab rows and diagrams scroll inside themselves rather than pushing the page sideways, so narrow screens work too.
